About Our Family Farm

Our cooperative family farm has fed our community with our pastured, organic, and grass-fed meat since 2013. We’ve since expanded our farm’s offerings with maple syrup, scratch-cooked soup and broth, and we’ve partnered with neighboring farms to offer grass-fed beef and lamb, plus plenty of other local food goods which are available at our farm store.

We believe in doing what is best for our animals, our customers, and our soils. We utilize agroforestry systems, rotational grazing, and wildlife-friendly farming practices.

Thank you for supporting our local, sustainable, and small family farm!

Our Values and Practices

At Reber Rock, our animals:

  • Are pasture-raised. They live outdoors, have access to pasture, room to forage, and plenty of fresh air and vegetation
  • Are fed only certified organic feed or hay
  • Are never given antibiotics, hormones, or drugs

Plus, our chicken is certified organic.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your product in any way, we will offer store credit or a full refund.

    Our Partner Farms

Collaboration between farms is critical to small-farm viability in our neck of the woods, and helps build community and support a robust and sustainable local food system. (We can’t do it all ourselves!)

While our chicken and pigs are raised at Reber Rock Farm, we’ve partnered with our friends at neighboring farms to offer grass-fed beef, grass-fed and finished lamb, and more. We look forward to carrying many more of our neighbors products in the future.

    July 5, 2026
On the farm this week, we all felt the pressure of heat as a heat wave swept across the country, and we saw unusual temperatures in the high 90s during the day. Chickens were hot, pigs needed a bath, and the humans were somewhere in between. Gratefully, nighttime temperatures still dropped back down into the 70s, so it was okay sleeping weather.

I love the cadence of national holidays for their capacity to remind me of all the different ways we can approach a topic. In our nation's independence, and in the celebration of that holiday, there is history, both past and present.

Terron and I weaned another round of piglets this week. Weaning is the process of separating piglet from mama. This may sound like a hear wrenching process, and it can be. However we wait until the piglets are much older than a conventional piglet operation. Allowing piglets to be with their mamas for 8-10 weeks.
