Ground Turkey, from Pasture-raised Turkeys, fed organic grain, pure and simple. With a perfect blend of thigh (dark meat) and breast (white meat) our ground turkey is delicious and easy to cook. Try it in your favorite pasta sauce or meatball recipe or mix with your favorite spice blend for homemade sausage.
As with all lean meat, beware the overcook. Cook until the turkey has just changed color and is no longer translucent. If you are trying for a good crisp on a burger or sausage mix try using a bigger frying pan to give the turkey room to cook quickly and crisp up before overcooking.
Turkeys are raised by our friends at Wrong Direction Farm in Canajoharie, NY. Turkeys are pasture raised broad breasted whites, and fed organic grain. This means they live outside, on pasture, eating grass and bugs and fed only organic grain. Organic always means, no antibiotics, hormones, and the grain was grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides.
