Birds average 3.5 to 4.5 lbs and come frozen, ready to ship right to your doorstep.
About Our Pasture-Raised Organic Chicken
Our chickens are raised on pasture at our family farm in the Adirondacks, where they forage on fresh grass, insects, and certified organic grain. We never use antibiotics or hormones. We raise slower-growing breeds from Freedom Ranger Hatchery, known for their rich flavor and superior nutrition. All chickens are processed with care right on the farm. Read more about our practices.
Preparation Tips
A whole chicken is one of the most versatile proteins you can cook. Roast it whole with herbs and butter, spatchcock and grill it for crispy skin, or break it down into parts for soups, stir-fries, or stock.
