A 1 lb package (average 1.12 lb) of fresh-frozen organic chicken livers. Rich, tender, and packed with nutrients, chicken livers are a flavorful addition to countless recipes—perfect for pâté, liver-and-onion dishes, or adding depth to sausages and stuffing.
Our chickens are raised on pasture at our family farm in the Adirondacks, where they forage freely and are supplemented with certified organic grain. We never use antibiotics, hormones, or GMOs.
We raise slower-growing breeds from Freedom Ranger Hatchery, which produce meat with superior texture, flavor, and nutrition. All processing is done with care on the farm. Read more about our practices.
Chicken Liver is a fantastic way to add flavor and nutrition to any dish. Chicken liver pate is a favorite, but you can also try a liver and onion recipe or add it to a homemade sausage for extra depth of flavor.
Sear livers quickly over medium-high heat for tenderness, or braise gently for a richer, more developed flavor. They’re delicious in pâtés, stir-fries, or sautéed with onions and herbs.
Don’t overcook—chicken livers should remain slightly pink inside for the best texture and flavor.
As with all organ meats it is especially important to know the animal was healthy, and you can trust that our pasture raised chicken liver comes from happy, healthy chickens.
