About Our Heritage Chicken
Our Heritage Chicken is a slow growing breed, prized for its rich, traditional flavor. Like all of our poultry, these birds are certified organic and pasture raised; once their feathers and bodies are ready, typically around three weeks of age, they move out to our fields, where they live in portable coops that we move to fresh pasture every day. This daily rotation gives them access to living grass, insects, and clean ground throughout their lives.
We think all of our chicken tastes great; these cuts are some of our best.

This box includes all of the cuts from two Heritage Chickens, 5.7 lbs total. Here's exactly what you'll receive:
- 2 packages Heritage Chicken Breast (2 breasts with tender per package), averaging 1.1 lbs per package
- 1 package Heritage Chicken Drumsticks (4 per package), averaging 1.2 lbs
- 1 package Heritage Chicken Thighs (4 per package), averaging 1.5 lbs
- 1 package Heritage Chicken Wings, party cut (8 per package), averaging 0.8 lbs
Cut Details
Breasts are boneless with the tender attached and skin on, packaged two per package. Drumsticks come four per package. Thighs are bone-in and skin on, four per package. Wings are cut party style, with drumettes and flats separated, four of each per package.
Preparation Tips
With four different cuts on hand, this box is built for variety. Try the breasts pan-seared or grilled, braise the thighs and drumsticks for a heartier meal, or roast the wings for a simple appetizer. For best results, thaw completely before cooking.
